PATRIZIA acquires residential development in Danish city of Aarhus
PATRIZIA AG, the global partner for pan-European real estate investment announces that together with Universal-Investment it has agreed to forward purchase the development of a 136-unit residential development project in Aarhus, Denmark, on behalf of Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK), Germany’s largest public pension group. The asset has been acquired in an off-market transaction from a consortium of private investors.

Nashville and New York, September 9, 2019 – Southern Land Company (“SLC”), a Nashville-based real estate development firm, and GTIS Partners LP (“GTIS”), a real assets investment firm headquartered in New York City, with offices in São Paulo, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Paris, and Munich, today announced the formation of a joint venture and the simultaneous closing on the acquisition of Auric Symphony Park, a fully-entitled, shovel-ready, Class-A multifamily development site in Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada (the “Project”). The site is located in a federally-designated Opportunity Zone and represents GTIS Partners’ first Opportunity Zone investment.

Real Estate House View - United Kingdom
UK real estate returned 2.2% in the second half of 2018 and 6.0% on an annual basis, according to the MSCI All Property quarterly index. Capital growth of 1.4% was achieved over the year, largely due to the yield compression, although this was supported by 0.5% rental value growth.
