Orchard Street Investment Management (‘Orchard Street’), the specialist commercial property investment manager, has completed the acquisition of Trade City Reading, a multi-let industrial estate in Reading, developed in Joint Venture by Kier Property and Investec. The asset was acquired on behalf of St. James’s Place UK Plc. for £15.68 million, reflecting a net initial yield of 4.70%.

KGAL “hanseWasser” real estate in Bremen honoured with DGNB Platinum certificate
Grünwald, 19.12.2018 – The property in the Überseestadt district of Bremen, has been honoured with a Platinum certificate from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in recognition of the contemporary and sustainable quality of the build. The property is looked after and managed by KGAL Investment Management and is part of one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. The building is the headquarters of the sewerage company hanseWasser Bremen GmbH.

Google Signs Deal for New Office at 345 Hudson
Google (NYSE: GOOG) has signed a 180,000-square-foot lease for new office space at Trinity Hudson Holdings’ 345 Hudson Street, which will commence in 2019. The deal was announced by operating partner Hines, on behalf of a joint venture comprised of Trinity Real Estate and Norges Bank Real Estate Management.

Orchard Street Investment Management (‘Orchard Street’), the specialist commercial property investment manager, has completed the acquisition of two hotel investments in Newcastle City Centre from Union Property Development Ltd. for a total price of £38 million. The transaction, made on behalf of St James’s Place UK Plc, comprises the acquisition of the Travelodge Quayside hotel and the forward funding of a Melia hotel development. The combined purchase price reflects a net initial yield of 4.50%.
