GARBE Industrial Real Estate GmbH (“GARBE”), one of the leading specialists for logistics, light industrial and technology properties in Germany and other countries in Europe, is moving ahead with its expansion plans for Austria. Franz Kastner (39) was appointed as Managing Director of GARBE Industrial Real Estate Austria, a subsidiary formed in 2022.
Prior to his new job at GARBE, Kastner worked for CBRE Austria for more than twelve years. As team head in the industrial and logistics real estate segment, he played an instrumental role in the professionalisation of Austria’s logistics real estate market.
The GARBE Austria team is further reinforced by Maximilian Grantner, another specialist for properties and lettings transferring from CBRE, and by Matthias Strobl, previously working as investment manager for LLB Immo Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH. These three are joining Jennifer Schödl and Maximilian Rameis, who have been working for GARBE in Austria as technical project developer and commercial project developer, respectively.
