  • Zoe Austin

    Portfolio Manager

    Zoe is a portfolio manager in the Alternative Income team. The team manages portfolios of alternative income assets including real estate debt, infrastructure debt, structured finance and private corporate debt. Zoe joined Aviva in 2002 and has extensive experience of infrastructure investments. She worked primarily within the Infrastructure Debt team until 2017, leading one of the sterling origination and asset management teams with a focus on social infrastructure. Zoe was Business Manager to the Aviva CFO for two years before returning to Aviva Investors in 2019. Zoe holds a BA and MA in Economics and an MBA from the University of East Anglia.

  • Greta Talbot-Jones

    Director, Natural Capital

    Greta is responsible for ESG focussed product development within Private Markets, integrating climate and social criteria into the investment process. She identifies new investment opportunities in the sustainability space for private markets assets. In particular, she is leading the expansion of our capability in direct natural capital investing and the resulting interaction with voluntary carbon markets. Previously Greta worked on the project financing of renewables and impact ventures in emerging markets. Whilst based in London she worked with a range of investors, including VCs, institutional investors, DFIs and guarantors, to raise both debt and equity capital for deployment in Rwanda, Kenya and the DRC. Prior to this, she was strategy consulting to the natural resources sector in Australia focussing on predictive analytics and supply chain optimisation following experience as an environmental engineer in New Zealand. Greta holds Natural Resources Engineering and Financial Economics degrees from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

  • Kiran Sehra

    Nature Specialist

    Responsible to lead the delivery of Aviva’s investment-related Sustainability Ambitions on biodiversity, deforestation and nature. This has included conducting Aviva and Aviva Investors biodiversity and deforestation risk assessments, building respective tools for investment portfolios and engagement on deforestation and nature with high-risk sectors. She represents Aviva Investors externally on biodiversity initiatives and has presented on numerous panels, which include the Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal. Kiran collaborates across entities including Aviva Group and Aviva Insurance, Wealth and Retirement entities stakeholders. Kiran contributes to biodiversity and nature expertise within the business, including increasing the understanding of biodiversity/nature issues. Before joining Aviva Investors, she worked at the United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC) within the Nature Economy team, where she focussed on integrating biodiversity risk within private and financial sectors. Kiran has technically led on the integration of deforestation risk and the use of nature-based solutions within the banking sector. Prior to this, she conducted research in Japan focussing on wildlife friendly farming certification and led research expeditions in Indonesia collecting tropical rainforest data for the Verified Carbon Standard. Kiran holds a MSc in Conservation Biology from the University of Kent, Canterbury and a BSc in Biological Sciences with a Year in Computer Science from the University of Birmingham.
