With over two decades of experience working in the Asian Real Estate market, Brian joined Actis in 2018 through the sale of Standard Chartered Bank’s Principal Finance Real Estate group, a business he founded in 2010. Based in Hong Kong, Brian heads up Actis’ Real Estate business, leading a team of investment professionals focused on delivering returns through understanding micro market dynamics and emphasising strategic, hands-on operations and management.

Michael Harrington

Partner, Chief Investment Officer

Michael has over 20 years’ experience in growth strategies and sustainable infrastructure. He has played a key role in building the Actis infrastructure business, first in Latin America, leading and building teams in Sao Paulo and Mexico City, then globally as Head of Strategy and driving the firm’s talent agenda through leadership of its Associate programme and chairing its Partner Selection Committee. Today he is Chief Investment Officer, chairing Actis’ Investment Performance Committee while also sitting on the firm’s Executive Committee, Remuneration Committee and infrastructure and real estate investment committees.

Lucy is Head of Energy Infrastructure at Actis. She has over 25 years of investment experience in growth markets, investing in and managing power businesses. She sits on the Energy Investment Committee as well as Actis’ Executive Committee which oversees the performance of the firm.
