LUXEMBOURG, 21 October 2025: Actis, a leading growth markets investor in sustainable infrastructure, has signed an agreement to acquire a 135km electricity transmission line from EDP Brasil to add to its Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund 2 (ALLIF2) Brazilian electricity transmission platform, Skyline.

The asset, located in Southern Brazil close to Porto Alegre, marks the fourth investment from Skyline coming shortly after the closing of two assets into the platform in Q2 2025. This is expected to see the business scale to more than 1,500km of transmission lines across the country.
The addition of this asset further diversifies the Skyline platform, with exposure across multiple transmission assets and a greater geographical footprint. The transmission line has a 30-year concession, with 22 years remaining.
The agreement follows a long record of investment for Actis in the Latin American energy sector. The firm has deployed more than US$4.5 billion in energy across Latin America since inception, and the region represents nearly half of Actis’ 41GW of global installed capacity.
