Key attributes of Foresight Group include:

  • Disciplined investment approach: a strong acquisition discipline driven by a structured, methodical investment process, refined over its 35-year history.
  • Origination capability: Foresight Group reviews in excess of 500 energy infrastructure deals a year driven by its extensive network across the three continents in which it has a physical presence. The large multi-national and geographically dispersed Infrastructure team allows Foresight Group to secure early access, often on a bilateral basis, to attractive risk-adjusted return investment opportunities from a wide asset pool across Europe and Australia.
  • Active asset management: Foresight Group adopts a highly active approach to asset management via its in-house portfolio and technical professionals. These individuals work alongside investment professionals providing additional oversight to the due diligence process, challenging third party advisors as well as working on project management and risk mitigation during construction through to asset optimisation during the operational phase.
  • Sustainability and ESG: Sustainability, and its implications relating to Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) issues, lies at the heart of our business. The Group believes that the incorporation of Sustainability and ESG considerations into its investment and asset management processes, as well as how it conducts itself more generally, is critical to delivering sustainable growth, investor returns and long-term success in investment management.
