Hugh Fraser
Hugh is responsible for all debt capital market activities for the firm’s European investments, including asset-level and fund/corporate-level activity, interest rate derivatives and the acquisition of non-performing loans and distressed real estate corporates.
Prior to joining M7 Real Estate in April 2009, Hugh worked at GPT Halverton where he was Head of Debt. Hugh was responsible for the management of all issues in relation to circa €1.4bn of debt across 8 pan-European funds.
Hugh has 19 years of real estate experience.
Before this Hugh was a director in the European Structured Finance Team at Eurohypo AG, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of balance sheet and capital markets real estate lending totalling circa €2bn.
Hugh also previously worked at Fitch Ratings where he was a senior member of the European Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities team.
Hugh received a Bachelor of Applied Science (Land Economics) from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
At M7, Hugh is a member of the Investment Management Team and is responsible for debt origination and management and also has a key involvement in new business development, fund structuring and investor reporting.
