Mr. Pillay was previously with J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets where he was the Platform Specialist for the Asia-Pacific region leading the formulation and structuring of the Asia-Pacific real estate strategies and also supported the European real estate team with capital raising from major North American clients. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Pillay was a Vice President at CIM Group, where he worked closely with global institutional investors to form and structure the equity financing of real estate and infrastructure investment products across direct, coinvestment and commingled fund strategies. Before joining CIM, Mr. Pillay spent eight years with Macquarie Capital, where he focused on real estate private capital transactions globally. Mr. Pillay holds a BS (Genetics) and a Masters of Commerce (International Finance) from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
