Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance has acquired 30 intramural care residences in The Hague on behalf of the Achmea Dutch Health Care Property Fund (ADHCPF). These residential units, located in the Eden complex in the Rivierenbuurt district, are let on a long-term basis to the local care organisation HWW Zorg. The seller is the housing association Haag Wonen.
The acquisition includes two daycare centres, two commercial units and 16 parking spaces as well. The care residences, located on the first and second floor of the complex, are occupied by people who have dementia. On the ground floor there is a regular daycare centre and a specialist daycare centre for children and youths with a developmental disability or multiple disabilities. The Eden complex also includes 67 rental and owner-occupied dwellings.
