US Market Watch: Why Investors Might Need to Get Used to Volatility

It’s been a rollercoaster start to the year. In some ways, markets might be reflecting the current volatility in US politics. 

Recent shifts are also a reminder of how quickly investor sentiment can swing from euphoria to caution. Take Bitcoin. When I traveled to Asia in November, it seemed to be all anyone wanted to talk about, and analysts where pushing their price targets ever higher. That bubble burst in December, and Bitcoin prices have mostly been in a downturn since then.
