Prior to joining M7 Real Estate in April 2009, David was Fund Director at GPT Halverton. David has over 15 years of real estate experience.

David joined GPT Halverton in Autumn 2005 and was responsible for the Active funds which had a combined value of €600m. These included BIP (which invested in German and Dutch multi-let industrial property) and DAF (which invested in Dutch multi-let industrial and office properties). As Fund Director, David had responsibility for acquisitions, portfolio performance, client reporting and asset management strategy.

Previously at GPT Halverton, David was responsible for many of the acquisitions made by the Halverton Babcock Industrial Fund, GPT Halverton’s flagship fund; his primary responsibility being the German and French acquisitions made by the Fund. Whilst at GPT Halverton David was involved in acquisitions with a combined purchase price of c.€900 million.

Between 2004 and 2005, David worked for Teesland iOG (now Valad) and undertook UK acquisitions for the Industrial Trust and the Industrial Investment Partnership.

Before Teesland iOG, David trained as a surveyor at Healey & Baker spending time in both the Prague and London offices, working in the industrial departments.

David is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

At M7, David is responsible for both sourcing new properties and asset management.
