Mr. Faith received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1984 and a MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986 before beginning his real estate career with the Trammell Crow Company. In 1991, he co-founded Starwood Capital Partners, a private real estate investment company. In addition to leading Greystar since 1993, Mr. Faith served as the Secretary of Commerce for the State of South Carolina from December 2002 to February 2006. Mr. Faith is an active member in the Pension Real Estate Association, World Presidents’ Organization, Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate, and the National Multifamily Housing Council. Mr. Faith and his family reside in Charleston, South Carolina.
